Making a blog in 2026, big deal huh ?

... Is what I'd like to say.  There is a non 0% chance that I am alone writing these lines and no one will ever see what this is all about. But anyway, enough rambling, let's get this thing started!

Now I do feel like introductions should be made... So hey! My name's Artie, I'm french and in my late twenties. I have a passion for ttrpgs, fantasy, fantasized mmos in media and the two very real final fantasy mmos : XI and XIV. 

If you're reading this you've found my pond -- which is how I will call this blog. It will be a place for me to share mostly game design ideas about ttrpgs, ideas that I would eventually like to turn into an actual game. You will also find random thoughts about things I like in general, and how they pretty much all have long lasting effects on my smooth brain.

"But how will this take shape ?" you might ask, "won't this be just another dump full of random ramblings ?" -- well fear not, dear reader! I have projects and will do my best to keep things organized! Chances are posts here will (mostly) be about one of three subjects :

1. "Before the Fall - Analogue", which is how I'd like to call the ttrpg I'm making. 
   A game about an Eorzea (from FFXIV) that never was. This game is in very early stages of development but I am mainly taking inspiration from OSR ttrpgs. I want this game to emulate the feeling of awe in adventure and exploration that I get from FFXI and 1.0 XIV.
   
   
2. "Legends of Vallendyl Online", my dream video game -- by which I mean a game that does not and probably never will exists. I will be making posts about how it plays and my ideas around it though! It is mainly inspired by fantasized mmorps in japanese media, notably the .hack// series, and by early 2000s mmos such as (once again) FFXI and PSO.
   
   
3. "Duckweeds", random thoughts exercizes and posts about things I like that make my smooth brain tingle. 

So here we are, the end of my very first blog post in history! I hope my ramblings will be of interest to some of you and that I will somehow be able to get organized and actually follow through on a project... Ok byyye~
